“We are Family” Multicultural Mixer
3:30 pm – 6:00 pm at the Student Resource Building (SRB) Forum
Families are welcome to join students, administrators, staff, and faculty for a reception honoring and celebrating the diversity of our campus community. The following staff groups are the hosts for the evening: The Latina/o UCSB Network Association (LUNA), the Black Resource Committee (BRC), the Asian Pacific Islander Alliance (APIA), and the Native American staff representatives.

Building Bridges and Fostering Communities: A Workshop for Families
12:00 pm – 1:30 pm at the Humanities and Social Sciences Building, Room 1173 & 1174
Are you looking for a place to discuss common concerns of college students and their families? This workshop is full of hot topics and resources to support families of college students. Learn how to assemble a positive network of students, families, faculty, and staff and create a successful UCSB experience for the whole family. Join is in cultivating roots and building UCSB connections! In English and Spanish. 

Black Family Reunion Barbecue
2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at the Student Resource Building (SRB) Lawn
Join us in celebrating the rich culture of the Black community at UCSB. This is a great chance to meet Black faculty, staff, and Santa Barbara community members in a fun and festive setting. Enjoy an incredible show of entertainment performed by UCSB students as they showcase their talents in a variety of art forms that include spoken word poetry. 

Celebración de la Familia (Luncheon)
3:30 pm – 5:30 pm at the Hatlen & Theater and Dance (TD-W) Courtyard
Let’s celebrate the rich culture of the Latin@ community at UCSB. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet Latin@ staff, faculty, and community members in a great celebración. We will share tasty food, children’s activities, and live performances by local and student artists. ¡Los espéramos!
