UCSB and the Office of Student Life take student conduct seriously, including conduct of registered campus organizations, fraternities and sororities, sport clubs, athletic teams, and other groups. We rely on community members to make reports when they witness or become aware of concerning behavior.
Organizational activity is generally governed by the Campus Regulations Applying to Campus Activities, Organizations, and Students
. Fraternities and sororities are also governed by the Statement of Relationship between the University of California, Santa Barbara and Fraternities and Sororities
. Additional policies may apply to certain organizations or in certain situations (e.g. venue policies).
You can report a concern even if you are not sure whether or not it is a violation of University policy
. The Registered Campus Organizations Conduct Board (RCOCB) will review the complaint and determine whether an investigation is necessary.
